Our qualified staff has many years of experience in the prosthetic field.  We have worked with hundreds of patients and value the long term relationships we have developed, which we feel are very important.  We partner with you in your prosthetic care.  Most patients who come to Hi-Tech become like part of our family.  We provide a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere and want you to feel at home.

We custom fabricate our prosthetic devices on site in our own state-of-the-art facility.  This allows us to provide convenient, quality care in a timely manner.  Our staff consists of ABC Certified Prosthetists and technicians who are expertly skilled in creating superior, functional devices.

Appointments

We see patients by appointment.  We offer free, initial evaluations.  Please call to schedule an appointment.

First Visit

The first visit will include an in-depth assessment of the patient's needs and lifestyle.  This will be an opportunity for the patient to meet our staff, and answer any questions about their prosthesis.  Working with the patient and their physician, we will assess and design a prosthetic appliance best suited to meet the patient's functional needs.  Each patient is different and care is based on that individual's needs and goals.

Completing the Prosthesis

On average we will require about four (4) visits to complete your fittings.  If this is your first prosthesis, we recommend that you seek prosthetic training with a physical therapist and we will be happy to contact your physician and physical therapist to arrange for training.  We will work with them during your training to make any necessary adjustments. 

Follow Ups

Once a prosthesis is delivered, we recommend two (2) follow up appointments at 2 week intervals and then once every 6 months after that to ensure a proper fit, as well as the safety and function of the prosthesis.  Certain components have specific maintenance requirements necessary for warranty and will be discussed when delivered.

It is important to keep follow up appointments in order to ensure that your device is fitting, as well as properly maintained and safe for use.
