Established in 1990, Hi-Tech Artificial Limbs, is an independently owned facility and we understand amputees. Both the owners, Jim McClanahan and Maurice Adkins, are amputees, and understand, firsthand, what it is like to lose a limb and wear a prosthesis. We believe this gives us a unique perspective in dealing with our patients.

With over 35 years of experience, our staff is professionally trained to evaluate, design, fabricate and fit custom prosthetics to best fit each individual patient. We work with patients whose amputations are a result of congenital birth defects, accidents, diabetes, and other disabling diseases. We have had tremendous success with “hard-to-fit” patients and strive to give each of our patients the individual attention they need.

Our custom prosthetics are fabricated on site, using the latest in technology and materials. Our highly skilled staff is fully certified by the American Board for Certification of Prosthetists and Orthotists (ABC), which means we meet established, national standards of care. In addition, our facility is ABC Accredited, which means we have proven that our facility meets a rigorous set of national standards to ensure a high level of patient care. 

Because prosthetics is our only business, we are able to focus our attention on the latest advances with continuing education and strive to ensure that we provide excellent care and products. We fit all types of lower and upper extremity prosthetics on site.
